Job description
Do you have a passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning and thrive both academically and emotionally? Are you an experienced and skilled practitioner with expertise in supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and ADHD?
At West Exe School, we are seeking an exceptional Senior Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated and inclusive team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring that some of our most vulnerable learners receive the tailored support, guidance and encouragement they need to succeed. Working closely with teachers, the SEND team, families and external professionals, you will use your specialist knowledge to create positive learning experiences, build trusting relationships and develop strategies that enable pupils to regulate, engage and achieve their full potential. You will work alongside children in the classroom, plan and deliver interventions and lead on the area of need – Social, Emotional and Mental Health.
Applications are handled on Teaching Vacancies (GOV.UK).
