Job description
We are a special school for the deaf. No sign language is used, and pupils all wear either hearing aids or have cochlear implants.
We are a small school with 68 pupils aged 9 to 18. They are happy and enthusiastic and enjoy school.
Our staff are a committed team of 12 teachers and 12 teaching assistants and we have very low staff turnover.
The role is supporting our pupils in the classroom, with some of our pupils needing more 1:1 support due to their additional needs.
We encourage you to visit the school to see how welcoming it is, and to read our application pack and website.
Applications are handled on Teaching Vacancies (GOV.UK).
