Teaching Assistant Level 2

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Level 2, with experience of working with children in a class setting, who will be based in Key Stage 2. You may also be required to support children in a one to one situation, within the classroom/intervention room and in the school grounds, developing learning using direction from the class teacher. Good knowledge of systematic phonics would be an advantage.

You will also be required to work alongside the class teacher, giving feedback and supporting their assessment for learning.

There may be an opportunity for a further 11.25 hours in our after school club if candidates are interested.

Grade: NJC pay Grade C - scale point range 5 to 6
Salary: £25,583.00 to £25,989.00 (pro-rata)
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only plus 3 inset days
Hours: 31.25 per week
