Teaching Assistant Level 2

Overview of the Post -
We are seeking to appoint a teaching assistant to join the dedicated team at Poulton Lancelyn Primary School to assist with teaching and learning in Key Stage 2.

We require a caring, committed individual who has the ability to work as part of the school team and inspire trust and confidence in children. We are looking for a teaching assistant with experience who:
Can demonstrate outstanding classroom practice

Has high expectations of children, behaviour and personal development

Has a passion for supporting the needs of all children

Has a positive outlook and loves developing children's learning

The current vacancy is for 5 days, Monday to Friday, working from 8:30am to 4pm, with a staff meeting on Wednesday until 5pm. Initially, this is a fixed term contract with the possibility of extending this beyond the academic year. This position would also be suitable for recently qualified teachers, who are looking to gain further experience of working in a school environment.
