Job description

Nether Stowe School is seeking to appoint a committed, passionate and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team. This is an exciting opportunity to support our pupils learning and make a real difference in their school experience. 

The Teaching Assistant will be required to:

  1. Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities
  2. Assist pupils with learning, ensuring they reach their full potential
  3. Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  4. Support with preparation of resources and classroom management
  5. Contribute to pupil wellbeing and pastoral support
  6. The role will also include lunchtime supervision

  1. Strong numeracy and literacy skills are essential.
  2. Be enthusiastic and enjoy working with children.
  3. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  5. Be committed to supporting the learning and development of all pupils.
