Job description
Norbreck Primary Academy is seeking to appoint two committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated team.
We have two vacancies:
- One in Key Stage 2
- One in Reception (Early Years)
Applicants should state their preference or indicate if they wish to be considered for both roles.
The successful candidates will support high-quality teaching and learning, working closely with class teachers to ensure all pupils are engaged, supported and able to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Support teaching and learning across the classroom
- Work with individuals and small groups, including pupils with additional needs (SEND)
- Promote pupils’ social, emotional and mental health development
- Use positive behaviour management strategies in line with school policy
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
- Work effectively as part of a team and communicate with staff, parents and carers
- Support the use of ICT to enhance pupils’ learning
