Grade: Grade A, SCP 3 - 8 (£25,614 - £27,709 Annually (FTE) pro rata
Grade B, SCP 9 - 22 (£28,153 - £34,811 Annually (FTE) pro rata
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, Term Time Only (TTO)
Contract: Fixed Term until 31st August 2027
Start Date: ASAP

The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. You will work closely with teachers and other staff to ensure that all children are engaged, supported and challenged to achieve their best.
Key Responsibilities
- Support class teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to enhance learning and accelerate progress.
- Provide targeted support for children with additional needs, including SEND pupils.
- Help create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
- Promote children's independence, confidence and self-esteem.
- Assist with the preparation and organisation of learning resources.
- Support pupils' social, emotional and behavioural development.
- Monitor and record pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers.
- Supervise pupils during breaktimes, lunchtimes and educational visits as required.
- Contribute to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents and carers.
- Support the school's values, policies and wider enrichment activities.
