Hours: 20 hours a week, Monday - Friday, Mornings Only (8.30am - 12.30pm) Term time only

We are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, dedicated and hardworking Teaching Assistants to join our team at The Oaklands Primary School. Applicants should have at least NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
The Oaklands Primary School is a 2-form entry Primary school in Acock’s Green Birmingham. Our Ofsted report (March 2025) has identified many positives within our school including the school being “highly ambitious for all pupils to learn, experience, achieve and flourish”. The school provides an “exceptional education experience for all”, with an “aspirational curriculum” which is “meticulously planned and sequenced” and has “high expectations embedded across the curriculum”.
The successful applicant will be working in class with Key Stage 1 and 2 Pupils, supporting the class teaching in ensure quality first teaching for all. The successful candidate will have proven experience of working with children from a primary setting. You will also have excellent communication skills with children, parents and professionals and a sound knowledge and understanding of effective teaching and learning.

With a level 3 TA qualification as well as GCSE’s (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade C/5 or above/equivalent, you will have a real passion for supporting pupils with particular needs, as well as a desire to develop a pro-active and supportive culture throughout school.
