Job Title: Wrap Around Care Leader
Required from: September 2026
Grade: A3
Location: Christow Community Primary School
Working Pattern:
- Monday to Friday: 7.45am - 8.45am (Breakfast Club)
- Monday to Thursday: 3.15pm - 6.00pm (After School Club)
- Friday: 3.15pm - 4.30pm
Total: 17.25 hours per week, term time only (38 weeks per year)
This is an exciting opportunity to join our thriving village primary school as it continues to grow and develop.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and caring individual to lead our Wrap Around Care provision and join our friendly, dedicated and hard-working team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for children attending our Breakfast and After School Clubs.
You will need to be patient, flexible, enthusiastic and committed in your approach whilst possessing a sense of humour. We are seeking someone who is caring but can use their own initiative and work independently whilst also contributing positively to the wider school team. Experience of working with primary-aged children is essential.

We are seeking a Wrap Around Care Leader who:
Has experience of working with primary-aged children in a school, childcare or similar setting.
Has excellent communication skills leading to effective relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
Can provide a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment where children feel safe, happy and valued.
Is enthusiastic, energetic and able to plan engaging activities for children of different ages and interests.
Can work independently, use initiative and organise the day-to-day running of the provision.
Has a good understanding of safeguarding and child welfare responsibilities.
Holds a Food Hygiene Certificate or is willing to undertake training.
Holds a Paediatric First Aid Certificate or is willing to undertake training.
Is kind, patient, enthusiastic and compassionate with a lively, fun outlook and a creative mind.
Will support the ethos and values of our school and contribute positively to wider school life.
