School Technician

Job AdvertWe are seeking to recruit a permanent member of staff to work principally as a School Design & Technology technician and assist with Science/General Technician duties to support the curriculum. You should have appropriate qualifications and experience in this field. Experience in woodworking, circular saw use, metalwork, and trained in using and maintaining a range of tools/power tools would be beneficial. You should have a proactive approach to work and enjoy working as part of a team. Good judgement, reliability and tact are essential. Applicants are encouraged to be explicit in detailing their skills, experience and attributes that they can bring to this post. You will work 37 hours a week, term time plus two weeks. Please note that the salary is pro rata. If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership, the cost of which will be met by the preferred candidate.
