Job description
- Appropriate teaching qualification, e.g. PGCE/QTS/DTLS or equivalent or be prepared to gain this within 2 years of appointment.
- A relevant degree and/or professional qualification within the specialist subject area (Maths)
- Experience of teaching to Key Stage 4 (Year 10–11) in any setting (e.g. mainstream schools, alternative or specialist provision)
- A passion for working with young people and enabling them to access the very best opportunities available to them
- Experience of working with students who have gaps in their education, knowledge and understanding
- Experience of working with students who need additional support (SEND/Behaviour)
- An ability to focus on the needs of individual learners from a range of backgrounds, with diverse and complex learning needs
