Salary Scale: Leadership Pay Scale 4 - 8

Actual Salary: £55,747 - £61,534 per annum

Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent

Start Date: January 2027 (or sooner if available).

About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional and ambitious Assistant Principal (Teaching & Learning) to join Great Heath Academy at an exciting point in our journey.

Fulfil classroom teaching up to 0.4 FTE.

This is a pivotal leadership role where you will:

  • Drive excellence in teaching, learning and curriculum implementation
  • Lead and develop high-quality practice across the school
  • Support colleagues to improve and sustain strong classroom practice
  • Contribute to whole-school improvement and strategic leadership
  • Champion inclusive practice, ensuring every child achieves success

You will work closely with the Principal and senior leaders to shape the next phase of the academy’s development as we strive towards outstanding outcomes.
