ASSISTANT SITE SUPERVISOR

We are looking for an Assistant Site Supervisor who would like to join our dynamic and successful school; someone who would like to be part of a friendly and hard-working team.
The successful candidate will:
- Have responsibility for master keys and ensure the site is opened and closed at designated times.
- Ensure the school is secure, free from intruders, and that all alarms are set appropriately.
- Carry out general maintenance, repairs and cleaning functions around the school site
- Operate appropriate machinery and learn and use specialist systems and equipment
- Monitor and provide site access to external contractors
- Understand the importance of health and safety, have a good working knowledge of health and safety at work and comply with Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
- Show initiative and have the ability to work independently
- Enjoy working in a very busy and demanding environment
- Believe in the importance of teamwork and a collaborative approach
- Be self-motivated, enthusiastic, hardworking and flexible in their approach with a pro-active approach to problem solving
- Be reliable with excellent attendance and punctuality
- Be committed to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and the principles and practice of equal opportunities
- Be committed to the principles and practice of safeguarding all young people
