Working 27.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time)

We are seeking to appoint a committed, resilient and compassionate Behaviour, Intervention & Pastoral Manager to play a key role within our Inclusion and Pastoral Team.

This is a varied and rewarding role that combines the day-to-day management of our Internal Suspension Room with significant responsibility for student mentoring, relational support, pastoral intervention and restorative practice. The successful candidate will work closely with students who require additional behavioural, emotional or pastoral support, helping them overcome barriers to learning, improve engagement and successfully reintegrate into mainstream lessons.

Working collaboratively with Heads of Year, SEND, safeguarding staff, teaching staff, parents and external agencies, you will provide targeted interventions that promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, attendance and achievement. You will build trusting relationships with vulnerable students and act as a consistent adult who supports them in making positive choices and reaching their potential.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with young people in an educational or pastoral setting and will be passionate about improving outcomes for students through positive relationships, restorative approaches and high expectations.
