Job description
The role
We are seeking a teacher who can inspire learning and raise achievement across the primary phase.
You will:
- Deliver high quality teaching that leads to strong pupil progress
- Use assessment effectively to identify gaps and move learning forward
- Provide excellent provision for all pupils including those with additional needs
- Create a classroom where expectations are high and every child feels valued
- Contribute to a creative and engaging curriculum
The year group for this role has not been decided, however it is likely to be in KS2.
Who we are looking for
You will:
- Hold QTS and a relevant degree or PGCE
- Be an excellent classroom practitioner with a range of strategies
- Have strong interpersonal skills and build positive relationships with ease
- Have high standards and be passionate about raising achievement for every child
- Understand how to use data to inform teaching
- Demonstrate high expectations of behaviour and learning
- Be committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
