Teacher of Art

Ormskirk School · Ormskirk · Lancashire

Job description

We wish to appoint a driven, innovative and inspiring Teacher of Art, who will contribute to the development and improvement of the Art curriculum. The suitable candidate should be able to deliver inspirational learning throughout Key Stage 3 and at GCSE.

The team of staff currently in place is optimistic and completely committed to the rapid and sustainable improvements currently taking place, firmly rooted in the existing good practice already evident in the school and across the Trust.

We expect the successful candidate to have the ability to lead by example, raise student achievement for all and to inspire our students in the study of Art.

In return we offer supportive leadership at all levels, a positive learning environment, on-going professional development and the opportunity to make a difference working in a thriving school with wonderful young people, of whom we are very proud.

As part of the interview, you will be asked to plan and deliver a lesson and then discuss it with the panel.
