Location: Haxby Road Primary Academy

Hours: Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 3.00pm, Friday 8.30am - 2.00pm

Salary: £26,427 - £27,274

Actual Salary: £17,924 - £ 18,499

Contract: Temporary - Maternity Cover

About you

Being a Teaching Assistant requires a certain set of skills and expertise

You will have calm and caring disposition

The ability to break down activities into small step and step teaching

A team player, willing to work closely with likeminded people who all have the children’s best interest at heart

Someone who is able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding in child development and the curriculum

Passionate about enhancing each child’s experiences and building upon their learning.

This role requires a full and relevant level 3 qualification in working with children.
