Family Support Worker

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Family Support Worker to join our team. Addressing attendance concerns would form a large part of the role. The school is a large secondary setting with a high proportion of vulnerable pupils, including those eligible for free school meals and pupils with SEND, both of which have a significant impact on attendance outcomes. Overall attendance remains below that of similar schools, and persistent absence is also above average in the borough. The successful candidate will help to identify barriers to attendance and apply targeted intervention to support pupils to be successful.
