The person appointed will :

  • Be a qualified teacher or hold an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Be committed to creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment, underpinned by high expectations for behaviour, learning and personal development.

  • Be aspirational and positive in their approach to removing the barriers which face young people
  • Possess an impressive presence and be an excellent practitioner of working in KS2
  • Show initiative and be self-motivated
  • Have high expectations of what can be achieved
  • Display a good sense of humour and play a role within the wider school community
