Site Officer
St Mary's Hampton Church of England Primary · Hampton · Richmond upon Thames
Job description
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated colleague to work 30 hours a week, on a split shift rota. Our Site Officer has responsibility for the day-to-day security, safety, general maintenance, and cleanliness of our spacious school site.
As a one-form entry primary school, our Site Officer is integral to the effective operation of our school. While you will work independently, you are very much part, and a highly valued member, of the wider school team.
You should have a good level of physical fitness due to the physically demanding nature of the diverse job responsibilities, such as lifting and moving heavy objects. You will often spend extended periods on your feet, navigating various areas of the school site and grounds.
The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding attention to detail, a great pride in the appearance of their working environment, have strong communication skills and be able to work effectively independently. Strong DIY skills are essential. Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage, though not a requirement.
If you're looking to have a positive impact and would like to become an integral part of our school community, we would like to hear from you.
