Job description
Are you a confident and adaptable professional looking for a rewarding role in education? Are you passionate about supporting students' learning and maintaining high standards in the classroom? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where every day brings new challenges? If the answer is yes to any of these questions, then this role could be for you!
We are seeking a skilled and personable Learning Manager to join our committed team at Alder Community High School. This is a key role in ensuring continuity of learning when teachers are absent, supporting our students to stay focused and engaged, and maintaining a positive learning environment across the school.
Working as part of our dedicated teaching and support team, you will supervise classes across different subjects and year groups, delivering pre-prepared lessons and activities. You will provide excellent classroom management, support student behaviour and welfare, and handle a wide range of learning situations. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of student attendance and behaviour, managing classroom dynamics effectively, and helping to create a safe, productive and respectful learning environment for our whole school community.
The successful candidate will need to have excellent communication skills, along with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and young people. Your enthusiasm and proactive, ‘can do’ attitude will be amongst your strengths. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.
Applications are handled on Teaching Vacancies (GOV.UK).
