The Role

City College Plymouth is looking for lecturers to join the Pathways for Progression team. The successful postholder will be part of a large team, offering Entry Level - Level 1 Employability qualifications to young people with SEND. All of the young people within the department hold an EHCP, and the post holder must be able to demonstrate adaptive teaching practice, and understand SEMH challenges for young people. The postholder will be experienced in planning and delivering taught sessions to young people with an EHCP. They will be confident in assessing student learning, and accurately recording student progress and achievements. The post holder will be able to meet with parents, and confidently engage in discussions about students' next steps and progress that is being made.
