Who we’re looking for
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable MIS and systems professional to lead the strategic and operational development of our Trust-wide MIS and associated systems. You will have a proven ability to manage complex system environments, oversee change and implementation, and provide clear, practical guidance to colleagues. You will also play a key role in supporting compliance with statutory returns and ensuring that systems underpin accurate, timely reporting.
You will have:
- A degree-level qualification or equivalent relevant experience (e.g.,

- Significant experience of working with school MIS and related systems, with expert knowledge of platforms such as Bromcom (or equivalent).
- A demonstrable track record of improving system effectiveness, data quality and operational processes.
- The ability to implement Trust-wide system developments and ensure consistent, standardised approaches across multiple schools.
- Strong understanding of statutory data processes and the role of MIS in supporting compliance (e.g. census, assessment, exams).
- The ability to translate technical concepts into clear guidance and support for non-technical colleagues.
- Experience of managing system implementation, change and continuous improvement.
- Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across schools and central teams.
- Full commitment to our vision and values.
