Nursery Class Teacher - maternity cover

We are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Nursery class teacher. The successful candidate will have high expectations in all areas of school life and a passion for ensuring the highest possible outcomes for pupils. They will work within an experienced EYFS team, leading teaching and learning for pupils aged 2 years to 4 years of age.

They will have a strong personal faith or be willing to fully immerse themselves in the Catholic teaching of the school.

The post begins on 1st September 2026 and ends on 25th March 2027, or on the return of the post-holder.

Alston Lane Catholic Primary School is a single form entry school with a record of high standards and high expectations. It is an excellent school for staff at all levels to develop professionally. We are a good school with an outstanding provision of religious provision.

This is a full time, temporary position.
