Job description
Join Our Team at Parkside School!
Are you highly organised with a keen eye for detail? Parkside School is looking for a dedicated part time Administrator who will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and maintenance of school data while providing essential administrative support across the academy.
The role of the Administrator is a crucial one in a large secondary school as it is often the first point of call for staff, Parents/Carers and members of the Trust team. As such, the successful candidate will be a key colleague.
This role would suit someone who is looking for flexibility in their working patterns across the week, for example, working for shorter periods during core school opening hours through the week.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Management: Update and maintain pupil records across various systems, ensuring databases remain fit for purpose and up to date.
Reporting: Produce accurate reports, support Census returns and assist with student progress reports.
General Administration: Manage school correspondence, perform word processing tasks and provide high-quality reprographics support.
Front of House: Serve as a point of contact for data enquiries, provide reception cover and manage the visitor sign in system.
School Support: Assist with timetable creation for new starters, support exam invigilation and help organise events like parents evenings and school trips.
What We Are Looking For:
Education: GCSE English and Maths (Grade C or above) or equivalent.
Experience: Proven experience in a busy office or reception environment using ICT packages such as Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
Skills: Exceptional organisational and communication skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Personal Qualities: A flexible, positive approach to teamwork and a commitment to maintaining high levels of confidentiality.
