Are you passionate about religious studies and eager to inspire young minds? Do you excel in designing engaging lessons that promote critical thinking and reasoning?

The Role

Watling Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Religious Studies Teacher to inspire our students to explore the rich tapestry of religious beliefs and practices, including Judaism, Christianity, Buddhism and more.

Join us as a Religious Studies Teacher and you'll ignite curiosity and critical thinking, fostering an environment where questioning, evaluating and reasoning are not only encouraged but are fundamental to our educational ethos.

Your influence will extend into the realm of empathy and self-reflection. By exploring diverse religious traditions, students will develop a deeper understanding of cultural diversity and learn to empathise with individuals from varying backgrounds. Your guidance will facilitate meaningful reflection on personal beliefs and actions, encouraging students to consider their influence on others and the world around them.
