We are seeking an exceptional School Business Manager to join our leadership team and play a pivotal role in the strategic and operational management of the school.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly organised professional who is passionate about making a difference to children's education through excellent business leadership.
About the Role
As School Business Manager, you will work closely with the Headteacher and Governors to ensure the effective management of the school's finances, resources, premises, health and safety, human resources and administrative functions.
You will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team and contribute to the strategic development of the school.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading the school's financial planning, monitoring and reporting
Preparing and managing the school budget
Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and audit requirements
Overseeing human resources processes and personnel administration
Managing contracts, procurement and service level agreements
Leading premises management, health and safety and site development
Line managing administrative and support staff
Supporting governors with strategic planning and financial oversight
Identifying opportunities to secure additional funding and maximise resources
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Has substantial experience in financial management and budgeting
Demonstrates excellent leadership and organisational skills
Has strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Can analyse data and provide clear strategic advice
Is committed to high standards and continuous improvement
Can manage competing priorities effectively
Ideally has experience within an educational setting, although applications from other sectors are welcomed
