School Facilities Manager Lift Percy Shurmer Longmore Street, Birmingham, B12 9ED United Kingdom Salary: NCJ point 12 (£28,598.00) - 17 (£31,022.00) FTE Actual Salary: £15,458.38 - £16,768.65 + well-being cash plan + pension scheme + additional Lift Schools benefits Hours: Part-time 20 hours a week (including shift patterns): Shifts: 10.00am - 2.00pm Contract: Fixed Term until August 2027 Start date: As soon as possible School Facilities Manager - Ideal for an Experienced or Semi-Retired Candidate We are looking for a reliable, practical and trustworthy person to join our outstanding school community as School Facilities Manager. This role would suit an experienced caretaker, facilities manager, site supervisor, tradesperson or semi-retired candidate seeking a rewarding part-time position. Your New School Lift Percy Shurmer Academy is a large, successful two-form entry primary school in Birmingham with 459 pupils aged 3 to 11, including a Nursery and a specialist Deaf Learning Base. Your New Role This is an important and valued role helping to keep the school safe, secure and running smoothly each day. Duties include: * Opening, securing and monitoring the site * Carrying out minor repairs and basic maintenance * Setting up rooms and moving equipment * Supervising contractors on site * Ensuring cleanliness, safety and good presentation of the premises * Responding to occasional call-outs when required What We're Looking For We welcome applications from people with life experience and a practical background.
