  • Monitor, analyse and report on attendance data to drive improvement.
  • Work proactively with students, families and external agencies to improve attendance outcomes.
  • Conduct home visits and attendance meetings where required.
  • Support the school's safeguarding responsibilities and statutory attendance duties.
  • Lead interventions for key groups, including disadvantaged students, SEND learners and vulnerable pupils.
About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working within a school or educational setting.
  • Has a strong understanding of attendance legislation, procedures and best practice.
  • Possesses excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Can build positive, supportive relationships with students, families and staff.
  • Is skilled in analysing data and identifying effective interventions.
  • Is passionate about improving life chances for young people.
  • Shares our commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and high expectations.
  • Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to their own vehicle with business insurance for work-related travel, including home visits and meetings with external agencies.
Why Join Us?

At Lydiate Learning Trust, our people are at the heart of our success. We offer:

  • Excellent professional development and career progression opportunities.

  • Staff wellbeing, recognition and reward initiatives.

If you are passionate about improving attendance, removing barriers to education and making a lasting difference to young people's lives, we would love to hear from you.
