As a Senior Science Technician, you’ll be at the heart of practical science. You’ll oversee and ensure laboratories are fully prepared, experiments run smoothly, and equipment is safe, organised, and ready to use.

To line manage and direct the work of other technicians as required for the delivery of practical work in the science department
To maintain an overview of budget control for spending in the science department, liaising with the head of department
To ensure Health and Safety regulations and good practice are adhered to and to promote a safe working environment
To be committed to the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare of children
Your work will directly support high-quality science teaching and hands-on learning experiences.
We’re looking for someone who is:
Organised, methodical, and detail-oriented
Passionate about science
Confident handling laboratory equipment and chemicals safely
Proactive and able to work independently
