Job description

Reigate School is looking to appoint a passionate, inspirational and innovative full time Teacher of Music to join our oversubscribed school in Reigate, Surrey. We are looking for an ambitious teacher with the ability to create a nurturing learning environment and a commitment to ensuring every child achieves academically, socially and personally. Candidates will be excellent practitioners who can inspire a love of music with our learners.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a qualified teacher with relevant Music qualifications
  • Have the passion and commitment to deliver engaging and forward-thinking lessons to both KS3 and KS4
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Be able to plan and deliver a creative and stimulating curriculum
  • Have excellent classroom management skills with high expectations for achievements and behaviour
  • Be enthusiastic about contributing to the wider life of the school
  • Have the commitment and determination to make a significant impact on the lives of our children
