Job description
We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and committed teaching assistants. Our school is a mainstream secondary school that also hosts a large provision for students with moderate to severe special educational needs.
Teaching assistants take on a wide range of roles in school, from academic support in lessons, to behaviour support and personal care. Some specialist teaching assistant roles in school will bring with them an increase in salary.
The post would suit candidates seeking a career as a teaching assistant, or recent graduates wanting to gain school experience before undertaking teacher training.
For an informal discussion of the post, please contact Greg Raynor, Headteacher, graynor@chapelhigh.org.uk.
Closing date: Monday 22nd June 2026 - 9.00am
Interview date: Week commencing 22nd June 2026
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS clearance.
