Job description
We are looking for caring, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated team at Evergreen School, supporting children and young people with complex special educational needs.
Working closely with teachers and other professionals, you will play a vital role in helping pupils achieve their individual learning and EHCP outcomes. You will support learning in the classroom and wider school environment, promote communication, independence and emotional wellbeing, and help create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning experience for every pupil.
The role includes delivering planned learning activities, adapting support to meet individual needs, encouraging positive behaviour and social development, and assisting with pupils' personal care and health needs where required. You will work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary professionals, contribute to assessment and annual reviews, and help prepare and maintain an effective learning environment.
