- Salary – TA Scale D7 £13.68/hr and MSA Scale A £12.85/hr
- Temporary, 1 year until 31 August 2027
- Part Time
- 32.5 hours per week
- Term Time plus 1 week
- Required for 1 September 2026
We are seeking a highly committed, enthusiastic, and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our school team. The successful candidate will support children in Key Stage 2, including those with Special Educational Needs, and will lead targeted interventions with individuals and small groups. The role also includes Midday Supervisory Assistant (MSA) responsibilities.
You will need to:
- have strength, experience and relevant qualifications
- have experience of working with children;
- have a good understanding of how to motivate children to engage in their learning;
- be determined to identify what helps a child learn, overcoming barriers along the way;
- have excellent communication skills;
- be creative and have a willingness to offer new ideas;
- be a good listener, facilitator for learning, motivator and role model.
You must be:
- Willing to ‘go the extra mile’ for the children and the school
- Proactive: someone who uses their initiative rather than having to be directed to carry out every task
- Able to establish positive and supportive relationships with all pupils and staff
- Flexible and a good team player, committed to cooperative working
- A good role model for all pupils
- Positive, optimistic and enthusiastic.
