Technician (ICT) (Trustwide Mobile)

About You:

The successful candidate will have deep knowledge of hardware and software, as well as good communication and problem-solving skills. You should take pride in responding quickly and effectively to all support requirements and take an open approach to help everyone get the best out of the school’s IT Systems. You will also have a passion for continuous learning, high attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

Essential:

• At least GCSE’s grade 5 to 9 or equivalent in: Maths, English, and ICT, preferably A-level and degree qualification in ICT.
• Experience supporting interactive displays or classroom AV.
• Windows Support: Confident troubleshooting Windows 10/11 devices.
• Microsoft 365: User-level and support-level knowledge of Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Outlook.
• Hardware: Ability to diagnose common desktop, laptop, peripheral and classroom AV issues.
• Networking basics: Understanding of Wi-Fi, IP addressing, cabling and basic connectivity checks.
• Cyber awareness: Understanding of password security, MFA, phishing, patching and device compliance.

Desirable:

• Industry Standard IT certification, including CompTIA (A+, ITF+), Cisco Certified Technician (CCT), M365 Fundamentals, Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA).
• Experience using Intune, Autopilot or imaging tools.
• Microsoft Fundamentals certification or equivalent.
• Flexible and willing to work across multiple sites.
