Christ's College · Sunderland · Sunderland

Job description

Christ's College is an all through school in Sunderland rated as Good by Ofsted, it is a Christian-Ethos School of Character for the Whole Community

We are seeking the right person to work alongside the Principal and Vice Principal Quality of Education to provide outstanding leadership and management for the Secondary phase of this very special school where everyone is Valued, Challenged and Inspired.

The right person is likely to be currently working at AVP level or above and should have experience of Pastoral Leadership. As a Vice Principal of the Secondary phase, you will ensure all our students know they are ‘made in God’s image’ and are therefore infinitely precious, morally responsible and gifted for a purpose.

The post holder will support the Principal and Vice Principal, Quality of Education in the day to day running of the secondary phase. Supporting teachers to improve their practice, developing the curriculum, ensuring timely use of appropriate assessment, and raising standards. You will work collaboratively and closely with primary colleagues to ensure a whole-school approach.
