1:1 Midday Supervisory Assistant - Corpus Christi Catholic Primary School

Salary: £4,943 per annum

Hours: 8 hours 45 mins (Monday - Friday 11.30am -1.15pm)

Fixed term to 31st August 2027, Term time only

Behind every confident child is an adult who believes in them - the one who offers reassurance at just the right moment, notices the small wins, and creates a safe, supportive space where children feel happy, secure, and ready to thrive.

Corpus Christi is a caring, friendly and ambitious school where happy children develop a genuine love of learning. Guided by our shared values - together we love, we learn, we live - we nurture confident, respectful pupils who are ready to take on the world.

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Midday Supervisory Assistant who will play a vital role in supporting a pupil in Early Years with additional needs, helping them to remain in school during the lunchbreak. You will be an important part of our supportive, welcoming and values-driven school community.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Creates a calm, safe and enjoyable lunchtime environment for all children
  • Is a positive role model and promotes good behaviour and respect
  • Builds warm, supportive relationships with pupils
  • Encourages positive play and social interaction
  • Is attentive, caring, and able to respond to children’s needs
  • Works well as part of a team and contributes to school life
  • Brings energy, patience and kindness to the role
  • Believes every child should feel valued, happy and included

At our school, you will find:

  • Children who are enthusiastic, kind and eager to learn
  • A genuinely supportive and collaborative staff team
  • A school where wellbeing and professional trust are valued
  • Opportunities for training, development and growing your expertise
  • A strong sense of community where every member is known and valued

Corpus Christi Catholic Primary School is proud to be part of The Dunstan Catholic Educational Trust, offering excellent professional development and collaboration across a family of schools throughout the South West.

If you are someone who believes that the little moments matter and know the value of relationships that help children grow in confidence and character - we would truly love to hear from you.

We welcome and encourage visits from prospective applicants. Please contact our School Office Team on 01934 621919 or send an email to office@cc.thedcet.com to arrange a visit. For more information about our application process, please contact recruitment@thedcet.com.
