Job description
STOP! Before you scroll to the next advert, please look at why we need you at Creswick!
We currently have a vacancy for a permanent teaching position to start straight away.
We are Going for Gold at Creswick and need to recruit a great teacher join our talented team. We are not requiring a set number of years of experience, a particular key stage or year group or area of expertise. Rather, we would like somebody who shares our vision and values. If you have an abundance of energy and great enthusiasm, we strongly encourage you to apply. We will offer the opportunity to grow and develop during your time with us.
We have a big ambition to be the school of choice in the local area. Nestled in a residential part of the town, the school is afforded a very generous site and a modern building, close beside the many attractions that the vibrant Garden City has on its doorstep.
Creswick is a great place to be at this time; we have been working in very close collaboration with the Agora Learning Partnership over the past year and are looking forward to strengthening this affiliation as we officially join the trust, ready for the next academic year.
The children are the biggest asset of the school and we are very excited about the progress we are making. We have a supportive team of governors and a very skilled staff team.
We ask that all candidates who submit an application visit the school. We would be delighted to show you around. Please arrange a visit by contacting the school office.
Please note: Creswick Academy is an equal opportunities employer and we welcome applications from all backgrounds. Safeguarding is everybody's business at Creswick Academy. All appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and medical checks. All references will be taken up prior to appointment.

Applications are handled on Teaching Vacancies (GOV.UK).
