  • build a positive classroom culture with clear routines, high expectations for behaviour, and consistent use of praise and rewards;
  • work closely with colleagues, pastoral staff, and parents to support student wellbeing and achievement; and
  • contribute to curriculum design, assessment planning, and homework that consolidates learning.

What we're looking for

You will have:

  • a degree in a relevant discipline and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS);
  • a strong understanding of what excellent teaching looks like and how to establish consistently high expectations;
  • the ability to assess student progress effectively, including statutory assessment requirements;
  • good communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with students, colleagues, and families;
  • adaptability and patience to respond to the needs of all learners with professionalism and care; and
  • a commitment to your own development, responding positively to coaching and feedback.
