Mealtime Assistant

Job description

High View School is seeking a Mealtime Assistant to join the lunchtime team, to lead play and supervise the children during their lunchtime break. The role will include supporting children in the lunch hall, organising team games, providing first aid support and pastoral care to all pupils.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Will promote positive behaviour and safe active play in the playground
  • Will supervise the children during lunchtime, encouraging healthy eating, table manners and good hygiene
  • Will work together with other school staff and the wider community to ensure that our mission is translated into action.

About the School

High View School is an outstanding primary school (Ofsted, November 2024), which is highly-regarded on a national scale and at the heart of our local community. We are a 1.5 form entry school, with around 350 pupils (which includes our dedicated nursery provision), and we benefit from working in a first-class learning environment, including a purpose-built school building and a range of exceptional outside play and learning environments.
