Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver stimulating lessons that inspire a love of learning in our pupils
Assess pupil progress and provide regular feedback to support their development
Contribute to the design and implementation of the music curriculum
Collaborate with colleagues across the Trust to share best practises and ensure consistency in teaching and learning
Run co-curricular Able, Gifted and Talented and/or support activities as may be required
including entering external competitions.
Participate in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest pedagogical approaches and technological advancements
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Degree in a relevant subject
Proven experience in teaching music
Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the latest curriculum and assessment requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
Commitment to promoting the safeguarding and well-being of children
Desirable Qualities:
Experience in leading or coordinating digital and computing initiatives within a school setting
Familiarity with a range of educational technologies and their effective integration in the classroom
Ability to provide professional development and support to other teachers in the use of digital tools
Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in the field of educational technology
