Job description
We have a vacancy for a part-time Physics Technician. The postholder will be responsible for coordinating the use of practical resources for the Physics department. Previous experience of working as a technician would be beneficial and a minimum of GSCE Physics at grade A*-C (9-5) is required. A higher qualification in Physics would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given. Sciences are taught separately in all three key stages and the subject is popular and successful at Advanced Level.
The position is for 25 hours per week term time plus 1 week, working pattern negotiable and will be paid on H6 plus outer fringe. Actual salary range £18,070-£19,575.
The school is committed to safeguarding children and young people. All post holders are subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check (Disclosure & Barring Service).
Applications are handled on Teaching Vacancies (GOV.UK).
