We are seeking an outstanding School Business Officer to join our ambitious and supportive school. This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of school life, where no two days are the same.

As a key member of the School Business Services Team, you will work closely with the School Business Leader to ensure the smooth, safe and efficient running of the school. You'll play a pivotal role in driving school improvement, managing operational services, leading administrative functions and ensuring compliance across a range of areas including Health & Safety, HR, GDPR, communications and marketing.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing information and recommendations to support strategic decision-making

  • Acting as the school's lead for Health & Safety

  • Ensuring statutory compliance and promoting a strong culture of health and safety

  • Overseeing school communications, website compliance, digital information systems and messaging platforms

What we're looking for

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience of managing administrative and operational functions

  • Is an excellent communicator with strong relationship-building and influencing skills

  • Can confidently lead and motivate teams

  • Has a strong understanding of compliance, health & safety and operational best practice

  • Maintains absolute confidentiality and professionalism at all times

  • Thrives in a busy environment and can effectively prioritise competing demands

Why join us?

This is more than an administration role. It's an opportunity to make a real impact on the success of our school and the outcomes of our students. You'll join a dedicated team, work alongside inspiring colleagues and have the chance to shape and improve vital school services.

If you're a strategic thinker, an operational problem solver and a passionate champion of excellence, we'd love to hear from you.
